Hi folks,

Purchased an out-of-warranty 2003 Cayenne S late last year and it's just coming up to it's 90,000km service. Assuming there's no problem with the car [it runs like a charm] what kind of money am I looking at for the service? Also, is there one place that's better than another to get the service done [I'm in Brisbane]?

Cheers

Tanmei

HI Tanmei
First congrats on the car.
I just had a PPI inspection and a service done on my turbo at the Brisbane Porsche centre.
Their service was sensational so I can recommend them.

As far as costs my previous carrera was around the $900 mark, I was always servicing to time (once a year) not KMs and I did not follow the book, I always went in and said do the service and what ever else is needed.

So it is not all that scarry but more like BMW costs than Fezza Costs

P.S. I am in Adelaide so it was a once of with the Brisbane Porsche Centre but they bent over backwards to help me out so a very strong recommendation for them

How long is a piece of string?

Depends on what has been done before, what has been documented, if it is up to a major service or just a glorified oil change? In regards to finding one place that is better than the others, it all depends on who you talk to and what experience they have had with that service place.

Probably better off putting up a thread in a POrsche forum or finding the Queensland Porsche club and ask around there for a more in depth response.
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!
