way to talk one out and one in at the same time.... :D

Makes sense really. You'd be crazy to trade in a new 991 for this.

Arthur has no such excuse, I want to see a commitment from him tonight to go and do a deal ASAP. :)

the art of diplomacy

did you get to the motorshow?  how did the MX5 look?

No, there was nothing I really wanted to see. Plus, I'm enjoying London too much. There's more exciting metal to see around here (Mayfair) than the motorshow anyway.

In this price range its AMG GT S vs 991 GTS.

Tough call !

99.9 times out of 100 I would agree with you. I've been a Porsche nut since I was a child.
The AMG GT is the first merc I have seen that I have lusted after.
I would expect the 991 GTS to retain Porsche's dynamic dominance over it's competitors.
But I think the Merc may run it very close this time... we'll see! Well I won't...but I'll read about it and maybe someone on this forum will buy one!

The SLS doesn't drive as well as the Carrera S in my experience despite costing twice as much, so the AMG GT has its work cut out.
