I bought my last set from Vince at Continental Tyres Prospect. They carry most brands or can get them in at good prices. Best price I came across for Pirelli's in Adelaide at the time. Ask him to show you his tattoo. ;)

Pretty sure he's Alvins guy.

Here’s what you’ve asked :
Hello. I have currently your ps2 on my Porsche and was wanting to get a higher level tyre like the super sport. You don't make the size for my rear Tyres. Am I able to put the super sport on the front and ps2 on the rear. Cheers
Please see our response below :
Thanks for visiting the Michelin Australia website. You can mix the tyres, there are no concerns, the only thing we do not recommend is having 2 different tyre treads on the same axle. Best regards, Michelin Australia

Interesting response

I know in Marga events it's common practice to mix tyres.

But I really don't see the need if not using R specs.

You can fix the handling with alignment.

Will be seeing the guys this morning, will ask while I am there.

I don't think there is an issue with mixing the Pilot Sports, I have 1's on the rear and 2's on the front of the Esprit, cos' at the time that's what the sizes were available in. And the Expert said there wouldn't be any problems..... :p

and there probably isnt a problem, when driving at 7/10th's.... but if you go harder and have a crash, its not the tyres fault, it must be your inability....

Just had a word to the guys, only the PS2s are available in both sizes. They recommend that you don't mix the tyres in this case, they would only mix if there wasn't a set available and it was your only choice.

Looking at the tech manual there is no PS3 or Super Sport that going close to the size specs of you rears. The PS3s & Super Sports will be available in the rear size but when, they can't tell me....

I'm sure there will be some disagreement here......

don't know but good point, but they are going to get a sale regardless.

I can't get enough camber on the front without changing parts and I am not quite ready to do that as I keep finding conflicting info on the best way / bang for buck way to do it.

Phill will haveing slightly grippier fronts help reduse the understeer or an I splitting hairs?

For an agressive street set up what setting do you aim for?
Is it the same for F cars as P cars with the figures ? (insert silly italian sledge here)

Being awd I have to be careful with sizes, I need the Revolutions per mile to be very close between front and back.
Yes it is the rear sizes that are the problem, if they were made in my size I would have the whole set in the ps3 or Super Sport

I am leaning to give it a go as if it feels awefull I can take them off and they are the same size as another car of mine.

None of that silly talk here  :D

Lowering it will add camber automatically.

Dunno what you've got but 1.5 neg should be enough.

Try fiddling with pressures to get a balance. Go up and down in 5 psi chunks to feel the change then fine tune after that.

Dont lose sight of the fact uts a fat heavy road car.

4wd too?
