First of all, hi all!
Long time listener first time caller.
I just got my P's, and i have had a love for these cars for quite some time.
Currently I'm saving around $10k in order to buy one of these cars, however this will take some time (sadly).
I'm curious about the price of these things, will it go up much within say... the next 4-5 months or so?
Would ~$10k buy me a Porsche 924 (preferably with the 5 spd gear box) in good working order in 5 or so months time?

Also, any current/ex owners of the car, please share your over all opinions please? =]

Thanks in advance,

Alex.

Should probably also ask if $10k is too much? As on every car market place on the internet seems to average these cars at just under $10k for one in good order ($7-$9.5k).

How is the insurance for you?

Not actually sure what you're trying to ask mate... =\

I want a 924 because they have a certain sentimental value to myself.
Plus i think they look sweet, not to mention they aren't as much of a pain in the arse as say... the 944 in terms of maintenance. =]

Can you afford the insurance? How much will it be?

I haven't sussed it out, but in all honesty i am not too stressed about insurance costs, my dad will probably insure it in his name, put me down as an occasional driver. (y)
All i'll have to do is pay the costs (which will be lower, no?)

Either way, lets not get too off topic, try to stick to the OP thanks guys.
