You too, huh? :o

Yup, my idea of driving a classic car

The real deal classics are a royal PITA. My 308 has been off the road for over 12 months while the world was searched for obscure parts

I'll have to find out what happened to John who was on here doing a 'local singer' with a 964. Seems to have disappeared!

Yes I was watching that thread with great interest.

This was the first RHD Singer. It now lives in Jakarta

Putting aside what Singer actually charges for one of these - what would you actually be happy to pay for something like this?

It'd have to be paid in cash for buyers as finance companies wouldn't see the value - so what's the real number for the Australian market?
C'mon, do it!

Starting price is $300USD. Most of the examples built so far are around the $500k range.
I wonder what the situation would be tax wise if you shipped an australian 964 to the US for the "mechanical repairs" to be done, then shipped it back...

My fantasy involves keeping it in LA or Vegas. Taxes would kill it here and the market would be tiny for resale.
