But as it stated it is not as fun as the gt3.

Is it about getting from A to B as quickly as possible ??
Or is it about getting from A to B with the biggest smile ??

It probably depends on the road.  For the faster stuff, the Turbo should be more fun.  Plus, you can drive it to work.

(missing mine already.  :waah:)

There is something fun about the power delivery of the turbos.
And how it is done without any form of effort.

The only part of driving the new gt to work that I see as a issue is getting in and out of the seats.

Oh and the new reputation as a hard core track junky.

Seats are easy. No parking sensors - not good for a daily car.

The 911 and the Cayman are starting to look more like brothers with every upgrade. I don't think thats a bad thing, it lets the entry level new Porsche owner feel like he has a great car which is somewhat comparable to the 911. Meanwhile the 911 owner knows his car is still superior in every aspect and has to be considered the best all round performance car out there. Its amazing how they continue to improve every new model.

Many pundits suggest the Cayman S is a FAR BETTER drive than a base 991 Carrera and more engaging that the Carrera S.
Cayman S is close to the best car Porsche make at the moment, and still with a manual gearbox I might add...
