Now that the rumour of manual seems more solid... Wonder what this will do to pricing on previous generations given the end to the whole "last of manuals" debate.

Thay won't be going down any time soon.

I cant see them going up much more, just like the 991 gt3, they have sat at the same price since they have been on the market

Surely the 991.1 would have to come down given its currently selling used at rrp pricing's... One would assume this would cause a domino effect?

porsche will probably just sell the new gt3 for more.

I think the 991.1 will come down if Autocar's speculations that the 991.2 turns out to be a 4.0 litre and manual as they say.  They are also speculating a detuned 4.0 litre for a GT4 RS.  I would be surprised by the latter, but if that does happen it will drive GT4 prices down.  I wonder if the GT4 RS does come out if it will only be in PDK form?  I see that GT4 boxes are failing in third gear pretty regularly now if tracked.

What are people going to choose manual or PDK ?
One would think everyone would choose a manual but it will be interesting to see how many manuals get delivered.
I can't make up my mind at this stage I will have to decide eventually.

original GT3 was $265k otr in 1998

accounting for basic CPI inflation would see it at over $420k today.

so they are probably in the ballpark IMO.

The 997.2 cars were significant as where the 993 RS'S were.

They will remain solid.
May the Horse be with you....
