 :thumbsup: lol I got abused when I said that. But I have to say that UK prices have doubled and tripled on my cars in the last 4 years so I'm not complaining.   :D

I remember when I was about 8 or 10 that you could buy a new Porsche and it would be worth more the next year. As a kid I had no idea why that happened, it was long before my first economics lesson.

In the rampant inflation of the 1970's it was common practice to sell a car for more than you paid for it a few years earlier.

In the rampant inflation of the 1970's it was common practice to sell a car for more than you paid for it a few years earlier.

That even applied to new cars...not now though. Completely different situation this time....for reasons I can't explain.

One of the things that ISN'T happening this time is a huge increase in price with the new model...now, if anything, each model seems to get cheaper.
