If I recall correctly the 991s was faster around the ring than the 997.2 gt3 so it's no slouch. Anyway, drive them and see which one you like and fit your circumstances / requirements, as you say you are comparing quite different cars.

I thought it matched the 997.1gt3 around the ring. But that is splitting hares.

You could be right mate.

360's question is relevant. What is the car being used for? As a daily with the ability to easily handle the a run through the hills on the weekends, I'd choose the 991s every time (and I did exactly that).

If you want a more serious no compromise toy, then it's between the gt2 and gt3.
