Someone is trying to buy my car.

What's it worth??

Interested to hear your thoughts.

PS - I definitely don't need the money, however I question if I will drive the 3.8 once the 4.0L rocks up.

A decent amount more than you paid for it. Obviously. ;)

You're probably the last person in Australia to buy one. I reckon you have a better handle on the market than anyone else :p

Put another $50k on the purchase price and allow for negotiation.

Mind you there may be others selling their 997RS when they get their 991

+1. Any profit is a good profit.  And you probably will never get another run like the one you did with no numberplates. :)

Judging by the amount of cars you buy, plenty  :D

In a few years time I reckon you will look like a genius for selling that Dino for $310k
I've got heaps of "could have, would have, should have stories" too:

- the 275 GTB/4 that I sold for $425k in 1995 that is now worth about $5 million
-the F50 that I sold in 2007 for what I paid for it plus a bit that is now worth about $1.5 million more
-the McLaren F1 that I should have traded my F50 and 360 N-GT on. Couldn't see the sense in having $2 million in one car.          Now it is worth something more than $10 million

- the 250 LM that my old man should have bought for $450k in the mid 1980's. Ralp Lauren bought it and it is now worth what?
$25 million?

I could go on.......

You can only make what you reckon is the right decision based on the facts at the time *shrug*

Fark ,I am well over $100K on purchase price at this stage.

But it really isn't about the money.

I just know these things will be super hard to own in the future.

May the Horse be with you....
