Hychill works superbly, but isn't exactly safe or arguably even legal.

Investigate and fix the real problem, don't mask the symptom.

A properly gassed functional system should last at least 2 years, probably more, maybe even 5 years if you're lucky.

And the best news is that you don't even need specialist help here. Any decent auto air joint should be able to at least diagnose the problem.

They may even come mobile to you to do so.

That's interesting. Whats the problem with Hychill?
I was told the reason my system already needs redoing is that I may not have "used it enough".
Why would I turn the Aircon on in a car I hardly use in the middle of winter.
None of my other cars seem to have this problem. In fact I don't think I've had to re gas any of my other cars in the last 10 years.

i might talk to you as i suspect the RR has an issue.

Take it to black stallion. There's a rolls/Bentley/Aston specialist there.

There's no problem with hychill. It's awesome, but not for your car.

The gas is highly flammable. So, in the highly unlikely event of an accident, it could start a fire, or worsen one.

And as such, it's use it regulated.

You need to circulate the gas as it's mixed with oil that helps thecseals and hoses work properly.

Also to reduce separation and likely blocks in expansion valves etc.

Use the auto temp function. Occasionally, set it to both hot and cold extremes, just to keep things working well.

And yes, as PP said hychill is not for 355s.

Hychill is a substitute for R12, used on pre 92 cars. Post 92, R134a is used, and is safe and legal, if not particularly efficient.

Oh...sorry....Old ones! They're all the same to me. I'd be surprised if I've seen on as young as an 80s model.
