Haven't seen it yet, but I did see a nice black GT2 in Hobart last weekend!

How do you find the brake pedal height for heel-toe? I had lowered the pedal and move the pad closer to the accelerator so that I can now try to at least do a big toe-little toe :)

Yes almost impossible, and when you do get it the timing is wrong because the pedal is higher than what you'd normally be use to.

Is it just me, or would you expect better from Porsche?

Anyone have a theory as to why it's like that?
I love my car. Buy your own

It's a mystery to me. Even my Turbo has a high pedal compared to the accelerator. I recall heel and toeing in my 997 Carrera S so, though difficult, it's not impossible. The fact that the dealer was able to adjust the pedals on Aemel's car suggests that others have required a fix too.

I think on a track it might be different when you get a bit of brake fade as it all heats up.  I didn't have any problem doing it in my 996t though.

That makes sense - and even with fresh brakes you are pushing the pedal down further on the track than you would on the street and the relative positions of the pedals are then better aligned.

I had Buick adjust it for me. It's now set similar to Porsche Cup car.

I had no probs doing heel-toeing in my 997.1 TT but driving leburpor's GT3 before pedal adjustment - the pedals were significantly higher and the clutch a lot heavier than I was used to! Agree - getting timing right was certainly a lot more difficult cf the TT which was a heck of a lot more forgiving (thought a lot less fun!)
Forgiveness is easier to achieve than permission!

The TT runs a pressure accumilator on the clutch slave cylinder which is designed to make the pedal lighter, the GT cars don't run these so you are pushing the real resistance of the pedal.
