Depending on the day, and with better tires, I could probably get another 1-1.5 sec. I was also braking early cuz I had stock brakes on instead of the Pagids and braking at 200m mark I was close to overshooting the turn, so there's another 0.5 sec max?

Can I drive it better? For sure, as I get familiar with the track again. Will it give me the thrill? Probably not..

Through another friend, I'm trying out the MG racing cars soon. Maybe that will give me the excitement I'm looking for and leave the Turbo for the weekend spurt through the hills :)

MG specs, for my first trials:
MGF Cup Car, 190hp, Straight Cut Close Ratio Gearbox with LSD, 4 Piston Monoblock Brakes (front) 2 Piston Monoblock Brakes (rear), Seam Welded, Adjustable Anti Roll Bars.

.. can't wait :)
Nothing beats the thrill of a properly sorted dedicated track car!!!
Whilst nowhere near as fast as the turbo or GTR for that matter, I have a ball everytime I'm at Malalla in my good ol trusty BMW 2002 trackcar - old, light, twin webers, roll cage, Avgas...........smile on my face everytime!

I'm actually more excited at the prospect of racing it :)

U should explore Group N / Nc historic racing class - lots of fun with muscle cars of old!! They have a very good racing series too! I think Glenn Seaton the ex V8 driver still races in a Capri Peranha!

Would love to get a racing BMW 3.0 CSL batmobile!  :D

Maybe in time I will. For now, I can have a go at racing without having to buy my own race car yet, which is good for trying things out.
