Thinking about ordering a new 991 GT3.

Need to offload my 997.2 GT3 RS and A45 AMG to get it done.

Problem is I may miss the RS….drove  the 991 GT3 and yes it's nuts.

Talk me into/out of it.

Couple pics of current cars.

I drove one a few months ago before they were grounded.

Issue has been sorted....faulty rod bolts letting go...resulting in holes in engine cases....oil - heat - fire

dont do it

997.2 is the last car to be built before they turned to Shit with PDK.

it is truly the last decent car  from any of the good manufacturers to be build with 3 pedals so i'd keep it.

It's hard to argue with looney's logic but you are the only one here who has driven the 991 so you'll struggle to get a better informed view than your own.

Nice outcome either way but I'd keep what you've got. No one knows when the 991 cars will be back on the road.

Your RS has a cup car engine and a new GT3 will have an upgraded standard engine. Have another drive when they re-release them and see what you think then.  If it makes you smile more than the RS does, do it.. you only live once, do what makes you happy ... I did  today and I'm smiling.  :p  :tilt:  :D

All cars already sold (800+) will have engines replaced in June/July.

Orders for new cars will see delivery in late July as well.
