To whom may be able to help me,
     I have recently bought a 1985 944 in which I intend to restore cause I loved the shape n style of the car and am in need of help where to get parts ordered from australia, as there is no clubs or even any (bar 1) 944 in this town (Rockhampton) in which I can ask.  The car is in need of a clutch, water rail, starter motor, right tail light cover and front light frames.  Other than that the car is ok (so far) the interier is reasonably neat and all the electrics seem to work except for a couple of blown bulbs. If someone can guide me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

No, but I know the guy who own 86944, wants $20k for it.....I said no.
Have asked the guy who owns 84944 if he wants to sell, he didn't......would mind having all 3 one day tho....

i love the 944, its such a great looking car. stick some cup wheels on it and it will look the business

The 944 was a good fun car.
The purists did not like it as it did not look like a VW.
A pal of mine had 3 different versions of the 944 plus a few 911's.
I drove all of them and they were great.
His turbo 944 was a beast.
And yes get rid of those cookie cutter wheels, new paint and it will look great.
