I've considered a ferrari as well but I dont need the "look at me" status and rocking up to work with a ferrari ( on the odd occasion) may raise some eyebrows

Dodger....sorry, seems I've hijacked your thread
At least it has direction and a potential positive outcome for once.  :D

Classic Ferrari will show you are a shrewd investor and art appreciator.

Modernish Porsche will scream more look at me, PLUS the lack of care of falling residiual.

It pains me so much to agree with FF, a 328GTB would be a serious consideration,

can't even compare on same page performance wise.

the GT3 will be so fast it will intimidate and maybe even scare you, and leave you feeling like you're not good enough to drive it really REALLY fast.

the 328 is quick enough, but you can actually drive it FLAT OUT, and get immense satisfaction from doing so... WITHOUT actually scaring yourself.
