I have to admit, the only things that I can "see" that are different are the wing, rims & rear lights but I guess it's what's underneath & at the rear, under the wing that really counts :mischief:

only option is manual......7 speed

Now that's a surprise.  And that's a long time to wait.  At the dealer today, the Turbo is still being quoted at 18months too.

All jokes aside, don't see much of a difference until you see the back. But then they are spy pictures and it's in black.

Edit: Actually looks a bit more 997 Turbo-ish :?

More refined.

Better power delivery....

Upgraded handling....

Same old, same old.

When the 458 came out it blew the lid off the 430.
May the Horse be with you....

I would not trust an article that referes more to the details of the old car than the new car that it is about.

It will definately come with the 7 speed manual BUT my "guess" is that it will also have an option for a PDK.

I could be wrong but I think market demand will win over the guy who heads up the GT section of porsche that has stated that a Gt car will have a pdk gear box over his dead body while referring to the 991

Also as far as looks, they are showing you only what they want, I have seen the 991 test car that looked like a turbo in the pictures, it was infact the 991c2s and up close in person and being able to touch it they are very clever in making it look like they want it to. The turbo holes in the side were infact stickers
