I would not trust an article that referes more to the details of the old car than the new car that it is about.

It will definately come with the 7 speed manual BUT my "guess" is that it will also have an option for a PDK.

I could be wrong but I think market demand will win over the guy who heads up the GT section of porsche that has stated that a Gt car will have a pdk gear box over his dead body while referring to the 991

Also as far as looks, they are showing you only what they want, I have seen the 991 test car that looked like a turbo in the pictures, it was infact the 991c2s and up close in person and being able to touch it they are very clever in making it look like they want it to. The turbo holes in the side were infact stickers

I think you've missed the point...

the only option, to choose if you want it, is manual. Everything else is std, inc PDK.

What m308 has written could be takes the 2 ways and I had not thought of it how you above mention it.

With Porsche the gt3 has only ever come with a manual.
also in the other ranges they come standard as a manual and then you option and pay more for the tiptronic and now PDK

I recall reading it will either only come as manual or only come as pdk, and that there would be no option.
But that could have just been something made up by a blogger too.

Well, that won't be the case.  The GT3 is a Porsche - and will have an option list that is as long as your arm.

I know that as well as anyone, I was just saying how I read the point being made.

Geneva 2013 reveal - and PDK only. I'm still convinced they will make a manual, at least as an option.
