I saw one on the weekend with the tent up. Pointed it out to the wife who thought it looked bad.

I like it, but what ever happened to this style of Boxter???? I have never seen one in the wild with the humped engine cover... I think the humps set the car off but no one seems to go for it, is it an upgrade or something?

that is a boxster Spyder the roof on it is terrible, so few people would like it.

its almost the equivelant of GT3 but in a boxster

Boxster brand is feminised forever, shame they're a good car.

Better than I expected - I like it.

X2.

starting to look more masculine than the 911 soft tops, might be the lack of the rear seats?

what does it say about me if I prefer the look of the old one?
I think the new one looks a bit bland and boring in comparison

The 997 Boxster is great, the new one seems like change for the sake of it no improvement really.

Well I will put it out there I think it is an improvement and I think it looks awesome.

I can't wait to see the cayman versions.

Performance I think will be sensational. Particually the s versions.

As far as the reasons for change well it is simple.
They made the 911 bigger.
They have now made this bigger.
They now have a spot in the lineup for a smaller cheaper Porsche.

This smaller car will help to keep the porsche brand profitable and the company running for decades to come.

Very smart moves.

I personally can't wait to drive Porsche's competition to the m1 from BMW. Small and dynamic.

The Boxster and Cayman are getting to be so good you wonder why you'd bother getting a 911 ? except for the perception.
