If short notice is the issue, then here's some advice...

Get on your bike and scope out possible shoot locations.  Take your camera and catalogue them for future reference.  Once you've found a potential, try to visit at 3 different times of day and in different types of whether so you know what to expect under most circumstances.

If short notice is the issue, then here's some advice...

Get on your bike and scope out possible shoot locations.  Take your camera and catalogue them for future reference.  Once you've found a potential, try to visit at 3 different times of day and in different types of whether so you know what to expect under most circumstances.

Or Dave could just ignore Flamey and become King of the Docks. :p

i have a lot of locations up my sleeve like that... just most are industrial etc....
i just really like the look. i did enjoy the country road look of the europa i did... just need to look for some different stuff. desert, water etc...

Good advice.  I need to do this too.  Problem is most of my preferred locations are a 1 hr drive from CBD.  Any suggestions for finding good urban spots?
