Hi I've just imported a porker from overseas. I need to update the navigation to Australian maps but have not been able to find an alternative to buying the official discs from porsche for $599! seems a bit steep. Has anyone else had this problem?

cheers

a Porsche costs 5 times the cost of a Beetle. but you're essentially getting the same thing...

so there's your calc formula....

if you can't afford a Porsche, buy a beetle...  :tilt:

geee, I'm feeling cheeky tonight ;)

Though getting a cracked version from the net does sound tempting...

dumb comment. out of interest, what do you drive?

i have a tom tom. as the car has a sat nav screen in it I'd rather have it working. not wanting to pay $599 for the maps is not being a tight arse. i've just paid $20k to bring it in to the country.

if someone has brought in a 997 and they've overcome the issue please let me know. if you feel compelled to write a stupid comment about why i should not try to save some money, because presumably because you always pay full price for everything, hey, go ahead......
