Awesome car 2,700ks easy never seen a cop, $2.00 a litre for diesel was a bit high, luckily I didn't need it with over a 1000ks per tank I managed to dodge that bit. The road from Ceduna to Port Augusta was the best bit.
Kalgoorlie open pit was killer.

Well done.

What makes the Ceduna - Pt Augusta road good? Scenic? Better surface? I want to do the Pt Augusta - Pt Lincoln - Ceduna - Pt Augusta triangle one day.

The are road is very good a bit abrasive but smooth with no road works, the whole trip was road works free.

Ceduna to Port Augusta is full of fast banked bends up and down hills, loads of opportunity to stretch the legs without getting hmmmm bored………  :burnout:
I would like to do the trip to Ceduna again, have a bite to eat and drive back or do the loop as you suggested, you get Telstra coverage most of the way should a person get ahead of the group, he or she could call through to let the group know they are ok and not lost. Not a good idea to advertise said trip on the forum though until after the fact…
