I am not sure if anyone has started a thread on this.

Ultimately we all know that the PDK is faster.

Which would you choose to buy?

PDK every time for me.
Manual would be great for shortish drives; but the only interesting driving that I seem to do is the Tassie laps and I am too lazy to row the boat for 1500+ km's these days  :D

I've ordered the PDK on mine

Depends on what the car is planned for, if it's just a weekender and occasional track fun I would go for the manual.

P. S hope all is going well in the states Aaron

I actually don't know why anyone would consider a manual if  a PDK is available.
I love my car. Buy your own

At the end of the day I think it will be a 70/30 split for PDK.

I wonder if the manual will hold its value better?

I believe so. And here is my logic.

Once the gt3 is a few years old and no longer competitive (speed wise) to the latest greatest models available, used examples will end up going to enthusiasts.

They will likely be people who prefer 3 pedals,

Or be people who cannot necessarily afford a new car, in turn they will be more price sensitive and manual gearboxes are a cheaper prospect for maintenance than a PDK.

Those are my 2 theories.
