100% agree.
it looks much better in person than the pics.  imposing front and front 3/4.  rear end loooks are a fair price to pay for the practicality the boot offers.
i am very happy with the purchase actually  ;)

will update if i get to steer it.

Are you going the S or the Turbo?

Turbo.  went in to the dealer to buy the 4S; walked out with the Turbo.

I'm not in the market for a big sedan but I'd give it a serious look if I was.  I predict M5 trade-ins galore.

a big jump in $$ for current M5 owners.. considering that a suitable replacement can only be the Turbo which is $150k more than the M5.

What else is there for someone coming off their M5 lease? Yes, it costs more but most people in this segment upgrade and spend more when changing anyway. The Panamera Turbo is surely the new king of the sports sedan market.

Big Call! Looks like it's almost time for the first AE supersedan shootout!  :)

Should incldue a section on photographing the cars in the same 'poses' and proper commentary from Joe in the street on what they think of the drivers ... that'd make a slightly different car review for a change.
C'mon, do it!

I know I'm itching to see if I can make it look good through a lens.   :D

Good luck, as much as I hate to say it they don't look much better in person and I have had a good look at the whole current range on and off the track.

Annoys me that the official presentation box has the promising design sketch of the sleek sedan that never eventuated.

Totally agreed! Went & had a look last night & it just does not look right at all. The rear end looks like a train wreck. I was hoping it would look better in person but I was very disappointed :(
