What was the original owner thinking when he ordered that?
A special car with a factory option I never knew existed. Remove 180kg by obsessive attention to detail and removal of comfort items like A/C that make it usable. Then wrap EVERY visible surface in heavy comfortable leather, and flouro red at that!
Go to all that trouble and then don't drive it an inch. Some people are just weird

They had  a yellow one at Rennsport last year. Unfortunately somebody on the information placard had spelt Leichtbau incorrectly. At the time I was with a good German friend, and mate of Aircon - PSinghof, who tore to shreds the poor person manning the Porsche for the error.

Nah, he is actually a really nice guy. Think he was just taking the piss, but in his heavy German accent, things don't always sound as diplomatic as they should.
