Hi All,

Just wondering what peoples view are on UK import porsches.
I am looking at a 993 which is in great condition.
It has all logs and has been here for 7 years now.
Is this still a no no even if Im looking at keeping it for 10 years ?Z
Its has all my boxes ticked

If the car is in Australia AND registered AND passes a PPI then go for it. Good 993's are hard to get.

Yep. Been here and on our roads for 7 years now with logs.
You comments are appreciated and make me feel more confident on it too.

Now just get a thorough PPI from a mechanic you can trust (hard to find for Porsches too) and off you go. Be sure and post some pics once you have it.

contradiction in terms:

thorough PPI
mechanic you can trust

both dont go hand in hand, ask moretti about his saga, makes oilgate look like a comic strip

You'll fit in well here then. So long as you're not another 13yo schoolboy with opinions on driving supercars that he's never even seen you'll be fine.
