I'm not so sure.

996 3.6 is 40-50
997.1 (S) is 60-80
997.2 (S) is 90-100

BUT 991s are tumbling...I can see the 997.1 60-70 and 997.2 at 70-80...but I can't imagine a ripper Turbo dropping from what it is today, esp not with the previous and later models being so expensive.

OR I could be completely wrong.

The 991s are tumbling at a rapid rate and I think a point will come when the 991 price will be the same as a 997.2 Manual. The only unknown for me is if we will see a large price discrepancy between manuals and PDK on the 997.2. In the 993, 996 and 997 the manual commands a premium. However the 997.2 PDK is bloody good and I think the allure of the manual may not be as strong.

The PDK is so good that I'd never consider a manual one. I suspect that prices will reflect that going forward...HOWEVER, I can still see them dropping a fair bit from where they are now. Depreciation isn't EVERYTHING, but it's still a factor.

I haven't driven a 996 turbo of any sort, but they must be an awesome machine, and a bit nicer inside than the vanilla 996s. Still not a patch on the 997 though.

There's a ripper tiptronic 996 turbo in qld with only 50,000km which looks remarkable.

I love my car. Buy your own

Hey that car was very high on my list.... (no joke).

But I'm FKING 8 weeks away, bloody Maurice Blackburn making  1 mill every month it goes on... not a great incentive to pay up on time (first it was 18 months... then aug 2016, then early 2017 now April 2017.... on and on and on).
