I posted this '90s supercars photo on instagram with a vote and the Lotus was ahead by far in desirability. I thought the Lambo would have won.

Cars / '99 Diablo Roadster for sale
« on: Mon, 27 Feb, 2017 - 19:53 »
Tony is selling his Diablo Roadster.

It is NOT a SV. He just put the SV badge on it.

It was one of the 6 2WD Roadsters brought in by the Smith's that they specced that way so it cost them less. The rest of the car is VT.

It has 6.0 wheels.

It has aftermarket fibreglass 6.0 wing (not CF).

Interior is 8.5/10
Paint is 8/10
Mechanically it's 10/10. He spent $80k over the last 6 months at Zagame where the car has had a true nut and bolt mechanical resto - engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, etc. EVERYTHING is brand new or remade to be new (recoated/zinc plated/etc). Mechanically, it's amazing.

He spent $350k 2 years ago for the car. Another $80k on the mechanical resto, so the car owes him $430k. He is asking $595k but he will take closer to $500k. The car is great value for what it is. It would cost $10k for the interior and $25k for the paint to make the entire car at the same standard as the mechanicals, which means you would have a truly brand new car.

Drove one this week.

Wow! You know how Bentley claims 4seconds but independant magazines scored 3.5s consistently? Yep, she feels that fast.
It's an insanely good car. It does everything perfectly and damn it's fast!

But f#ck it's ugly!!! Way worse in real life than in photos.

Lamborghini / Freshly uploaded Diablo SV video review
« on: Sat, 03 Dec, 2016 - 01:50 »
I've always been a fan of Davide Cironi's vids. Better than most out there.

Yesterday he uploaded his first drive review of the early Diablo SV.

His reactions (mouth constantly open, heavy uncontrollable exhales, stressed out words) are all accurate when driving this thing. I personally would not have done the video during a wet day, but I guess he realised that only after he started driving.

Pity the car in the vid still has the standard exhaust.

Can someone please remove the truck/SUV from the picture. Thank you.
