If you are used to big HP these wagons are the ideal DD, you don't have to use all of the power all the time but you know it's on tap when you need it, as part of the package you are getting better brakes better suspension which by default leads to increased handling and braking along with the power which enables you to zip in and out, I wouldn't daily drive anything else to be honest, also if this is your only car you will also have a great weekend toy  :D

That's fair enough. I can certainly understand why people love them.

My DD is an old 3 series Touring, hence why I really like the look of the (fake) M3 Touring.

There is also the small matter of me not having 300k to spend on a special car, let alone a DD.

I drove most of the S and RS Audis recently.

Amazing cars and some of them are ridiculously fast in a straight line, but I doubt I'd ever buy one.

To be honest, I don't see the point in a big family wagon that can do 0-100 in less than 4 seconds.

But then again, I'm not the target market I guess.

I much prefer that to the Merc.

Pity if they're not going to make them.

Well I wear glasses so…grain of salt Steve!

It would be fair to say I do too: red ones...

Well the 650S slays the 488 in the looks department. I know many will disagree but that's my view. The Huracan may be even better looking again. In my fantasy world it would be the McLaren without doubt.

That's interesting. I'd say the complete opposite.

488 / 650S / Huracan to my eyes.

Not everything made it through.

I could be wrong but I think the same car had a bingle last year at a hill climb event?

According to the SA TV news this event didnt even happen in Adelaide today.

They need to get at least the channel ten motorsports guys on board to cover it as it happens. Putting it on the same weekend as the best Phillip Island Moto GP in years didnt help.

Channel 10 weekend news comes direct from the eastern states, and it is a total joke that they humour us with it.
You never see anything except stories from Sydney / Melbourne and Brisbane.
Add in the factor of the Moto GP being on 10 and there was no chance of any coverage.

There was a little bit on the other channels, but again not a lot.
