Very lucky, any idea why the back stepped out like that? seems odd, i woulda thought he would have simply kept the boot in and keep it moving in a straight line not veer out like that...

My guess is hes not an Aussie and used to driving in gravel. ...

he tried to move across after going thru the gravel too early, he should have kept the same line a second or two longer while his back tires were still covered in crud.

Easy.  It's when it hits the gravel.  Maybe the painted section of tarmac adds to it, but it's already sideways before then.

Support category at Italian GT Imola last week.

The hand control car was great. Bravo! Gear lever on right with thumb clutch paddle, throttle ring on top of steering wheel, brake ring under wheel.

Driver velcro straps his spaghetti legs into place. 

Awesome and inspiring.
