This year's Sydney show isn't worthy of its name - it's a disgrace.

It's only fair that the exhibitors are now acting to force the organisers to alternate Melbourne and Sydney.  Having 2 substandard shows is silly.

yeah, lets have 1 *dire*  show in Canberra?

Aren't ALL Motorshows crap?

I've been to about 15 over the years. NONE are memorable for any car stuff.

Filth, litter, queues and girls is all I remember.

edit...

I have NFI why that Lambo pic is there!!

it's not shown in here when I went to edit it, and I tried to attach it to a message about 30 minutes ago in another topic entirely, and aborted.

Which of these words doesn't belong with the others? :p

Melbourne is nice and clean with no queues when I've been there.  My point is what is the point of a motorshow without Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Citroen, Fiat and Alfa Romeo!

I went to the motor show tonight, every year I leave disappointed as it's not much compared to the european shows I've been to (the size of AIMS would be one of the many halls), especially this year with a lot of the european brands backing out. I still go every year though because I enjoy taking photo's there of the few cars I'm interested in.

I went after work and was there from 7 - 10, nice and quiet for photo's, especially the last half hour before closing time.

Nothing really blew me away, all the concept cars are getting boring, it was nice to see the koenigsegg though. The Bolwell Nagari is just weird, the Pagani was as nice as always, but it's in the showroom down my street most of the year. It was good to see the Nissan GTR there but my highlight was the Murcielago LP640 Roadster in the nicest green, what a colour on that car! I'll post some pics on the weekend.

The Ferrari California wasn't bad either, surprised they didn't have the 430 Scuderia on display.

Thanks for the pics.  I'm liking the California more every time I see it.

And I wish someone would buy that Pagani - it's been too long in captivity!
