I'm interested - as much to see The Who (or what's left of them :() as the racing.  Could be time to take the Lambo to Melbourne for a service that week perhaps.   Anyway, too far off to think about for me.

who's playing?  :headbang: might duplicate this thread on Fchat, see if we can get more people... otherwise might have to organise some grandstand seats.

Ok everyone, this is what we are looking at.

From the looks of it, a FULL booking of 40+ people isn’t going to be needed, so smaller numbers are ok. Most of the private tents are booked out anyway…

Our main option would be a shared box, which works like buying an individual grandstand ticket except you’re in a box with other randoms.

Price wise it’s also a smarter option. Private tents work out cheaper per person….. BUT…. Then you have to purchase food/drink packages as per bellow ($720 per person for the 4 days minimum)

So I guess the option is where we want to sit. I haven’t been to the Melb GP so I’m open to opinions.

Option 1 – Private box + Food (40 people min) - $2390 per person roughly… including food/drink ($1600ish without food/drink)

PRIVATE * | $66,800 40-person, 4-day package

» Open-fronted marquee structure with solid internal walls

» Fully carpeted inside, artificial grass in grandstand

» Grandstand seats at the front of the box

» Option to theme the inside of your facility, with access to the circuit before the event*

» Option to hire additional facility items (additional cost), e.g. furniture and greenery*

» Facility entrance sign denoting your company/group name

» Dining tables to suit your needs

» One host pass with each facility purchased

» Your choice of name printed on your corporate tickets*

» A four-day corporate ticket, with individual tickets provided per day

» Flat screen televisions showing GPTV live

» Superscreen viewing

» One back of barrier advertising sign per 20-person booking

» Sunscreen and earplugs

» One official programme per four-day ticket purchased

Option 2 – Chicane Skybox Roof - $1990 per person which includes food/drink

Shared | $1,990 per person (fully inclusive of food and beverages)

Features include:

» Reserved undercover seat in the Chicane Skybox Roof

» Cash bar in dining marquee for spirits

» Reserved dining seat per person in the Chicane Skybox dining marquee

» Hosts to assist you and your guests in the Chicane Skybox Roof dining marquee

» Your choice of name printed on your corporate tickets*

» A four-day corporate ticket, with individual tickets provided per day

» Projection screens showing GPTV live in the dining marquee

» Partial superscreen viewing

» One back of barrier advertising sign per 20-person booking

» Sunscreen and earplugs

» One official programme per four-day ticket purchased

Option 3 – Pit Exit Suite – includes some pit walk passes.

SHARED | $1,995 per person (fully inclusive of food and beverages)

Features include:

» Full table service

» Evaporative cooling

» Glass-fronted dining area plus outdoor undercover viewing deck

» A combination of grandstand seats and a viewing deck with outdoor free-standing pedestal tables

» Reserved dining seat in Trackside dining

» A facility host to assist you and your guests

» Your choice of name printed on your corporate tickets*

» A four-day corporate ticket, with individual tickets provided per day

» Flat screen televisions showing GPTV live

» Superscreen viewing

» One back of barrier advertising sign per 20-person booking

» Sunscreen and earplugs

» One official programme per four-day ticket purchased

Option 4 – Four Corners Package – grandstand seating with a different seat each day. (Various combinations available) $389 - $439

Option 5 – Pick one Grand stand - $359 - $659 depending on where.

Hello David,

Following our brief conversation this morning I have attached Corporate Hospitality options for you to review.

In have looked into our bookings to date and inventory is tight to say the least.

At this point in time;

·         We only have one Corporate platform available to cater for 40 guests (Turn 4).

·         Chicane Skybox Roof has 98 seats available and as I mentioned, is likely to be full by early January.

·         The other option taking into consideration the number of guests would be a Private Jones or Brabham box. Please be aware that catering costs are additional for Private facilities and approx costs for budgeting purposes are around the $180 mark (per head per day).

Please feel free to call me direct if you require further information.

Kind regards,

Brett

the 2009 cars are a bit ugly. they have got back to the 80/90s designs.

Your too picky and fixated on aesthetics.....  :p But, i do hate the rear end on them, that rear spoiler looks ridiculous, good to see slicks again though!

C'mon Brawn GP!

You got your wish! I wonder if anything will happen afterwards because of the incident on the first lap.

Have high hopes for Brawn. Ever since I saw them testing, they have been firm favourites in my book. Jenson will be on his way to the championship I think.
