his team mate beat him easily, yes it's Vettel, but facts is facts.

Webber has also had to slim down 5kg... can't help stamina.

The cars will be a handful this year as full fuel tanks will sort out men/boys.
remember webber broke his leg right before the season started and couldnt even compete in test and had to go on pain killer for something like the first 4-5 races but i admit the vettel is a better driver but i think webber will have the upper hand because of more experience.

also there is a number of other mods made like the smaller tyres way bigger wheelbase so the cars will be alot slower

ok, so you're a Webber fan, that's great.

I'm not, though.

I guess we'll see if this year pans out any better for him than the others.

why not??,
that is un australian!!
he is the closest driver we have, or will have for a long time to get close in winning a championship.
GO WEBBER!!
let me guess FF, you are a Jensen Button fan?? Hmmm

I used to support my home country and was a Verstappen fan. He didn't get too much out of Formula 1 apart from the ability to guess which country he was in from the gravel...

nope, Schuey all the way for me. Kimi was ace too, he'll be back one day too  :tilt:

James Hunt is/was the best british driver IMO.

Webber has simply not shone brightly enough, and back when he was a Formula Holden driver, he was very beatable. I've worked with drivers that beat him back then.

And I met Webber at a launch ceremony back in 2001?.. he wasn't as sociable and friendly as the other drivers, when considering he's an aussie, and it was in Australia, you'd think he might have been more "marketable".

Also, I don't think he would have made it to where he has if it was based ONLY on driving talent. His contacts have given him more open doors than his talent.. IMO...

He has improved immensly in the last ~5 years and IS a great driver... but there are better drivers that didn't make it.
