Given Tim is going to be driving with Tim Leahey at the 12 hour, any track time will assist with preparation for the event

Two Tims?  You mean Nick O?

Tim leahey needs no practice, he's a consumate professional.

Further regs just released subject to cams approval. Changes include some cars running ballast, all cars able to or limited to run up to 100 L tank, minimum pit stop time and a minimum compulsory amount of pit stops.

Here we go boys - formidable Porsche line up - (& only 1 seeded driver)

i wouldn't think they would let fiori and reynolds in the same car. both would be classed as 'seeded'.

I'm fairly sure we wont be running Teds lambo now... there's a much better event there in April that gives 2x 30 minute racs and also a 1 hour race... and it only costs ~$2200 for entry... compared to ~$200k all in for the 12 hr....

i think you are comparing apples to oranges regardless of the cost bit.

plus you don't want to be wipped by a VW. :p

Lambo IS a VW (we call it VAG)

Not comparing anything... 12 hr is just a massive spendathon... yeah great event blah blah... but true costs are simply way too high. Can't justify them.

As much fun to be had in sprint racing for a fraction of the price.

Ted ran the Phillip island Magic 1 hr race last weekend... first time he's done the whole hr on his own, and the race was dry and green flags the whole way... he did really well. came home 8th but got 7th as someone cheated  :tilt:

I was thinking the other day how good it would be if someone bought a 2009 Ford GT3 to enter...

PM for details  :dopey:
