we initially though ted didn't brake much, as the data shows low brake pressure.

But ACTUALLY, the pressure sensors are AFTER the ABS unit. he in fact had very high pedal pressure, but the abs was unlocking them, as it was an impossible ask, due to being off line on dirty track, and braking too late, too hard.

FYI.

I know how ted drives. he's notorious. But there are plenty more like it.
He's slow and he's dangerous.

Have you driven against him?

My little video will have you shaking your head

In the state series, there are cars capable of going as fast as teds car.

No, we haven't had it up to QR, but I'd expect him to be ~8% off the pace of a pro driver, like he is everywhere else.

I look forward to Russell driving the 600 at PI, where we have some reasonable times as a benchmark.

So what time would that be? Give me an approx laptime.....

Sigh....... why do always bring other drivers into your argument to try and solidify your opinion? Seriously....... Eddy had probably his worst day at the office in his career, Wayne made an error of judgement, as did the pilot of the #22 SLS, as did Patterson in the United Audi. The conditions were shithouse, and if mistakes were to be made, yesterday was gonna be the day.

Saturday's conditions were pristine...... Ted just flat out missed his brake marker with no pressure and non-race conditions.

No pressure ?? How would you feel with McConville and Kox capable of 2.05, and Searle with 08s in him, staring a win in the face?

yes, he missed his braking point, he was also off line. it happens.

When ever i think of older drivers at Bathurst I think of Tom Sulman.

With talent like that..... i would have been happy to have been brought up on the podium and acknowledged by the crowd as team owner.

I sense there might be a smidge of ill advised ego still floating around in old Ted's body though......

Slow perhaps, dnagerous, perhaps, check the ticket, that's motorsport.

No, but I know how he drives. We record from two cameras all the time. I could find rear facing footage of dangerous followers, if you like.

Whos that rob?

I think of Murray Carter, jim Richards, even Bowe is 6 years older than Park, he's not too old, but he has talent!

correct, he was looking at the dash too late.

He had pressure on himself from the situation, and he had LOADS of pressure on the brake pedal.

I have no reference for similar cars other than Bairdos testing time of 1.09.5 in the 458 of TQ.

based on what I know about that test, I'd say a sorted 458 could do a 1.07 or there abouts, so Teds car could do pretty much the same, maybe half a second slower, so based on adding Teds 8%, I'd say he'd do a 1.13. Or there abouts.

But, if lets say Russel did a 1.06 in the 600, then Teds car could do a little better, maybe a 1.05. So Ted would perhaps do a 1.11, after maybe 50 laps of practice.
