anyone been to Monza?

looks like we might cut spa out of our trip :sadnana:

monza has lots of grandstands but i thought maybe general admin might do us as we will probably only be there on one or 2 of the days.

Shame about spa, it's amazing, but Monza is bloody awesome too. Gen admin is always ok, the atmosphere in the stands amongst the tifosi is electric though...

well if i could pick monza or spa i would chose spa, however the extra week and a half it would add to the holiday would cost more than i want to spend on this trip.

im not fussed about buying seats in the grandstands, but thought if GA was as good as melbournes is, then i wouldnt bother the extra euros... Actually Ascari chicane grandstand is $180aud for the sunday... reasonable i guess.

monza is a cool place, went there when i was at school in florence in 83, went to the gp, did it on the cheap with the tifosi.....those psychos are more insane than phil and pless combined

A few of us went to Monza and thought it was very ordinary, but that was only because we didn't realise how relatively spectacular the Aussie GP is.
