Goober came 6th outright. Bloody amazing considering he's driving a car the local clown said couldn't be driven on the roads and was unsuitable for an event like this.

He also won his class. (as the same clown would say, 'won his class outright'

LOL

Great effort Goober.

hmmmmm  "couldn't be driven on the roads"...  so who said that then? quote the post ? Let's ridicule him/her.

Don't you have a family (your own) to upset? Or are you multi tasking?

Well done on the finish Brenton.

Good luck in Classic Adelaide and Targa.

Is the Perryman car going to run again soon?

Lovin' all the pics, but WTF are the organisers doing letting photographers stand so close to the track.  That caper will end in tears.

If photographers aren't allowed to stand on the apex, how else will the drivers know where to aim their cars?

You mean 100m further up the course than where the car was...... not away from the course!

Agree

the insurance will stop it I'm afraid.

An accident/injury/death from something like that could ruin motorsport for lots of us.... Stupid mamby pamby world we live in, but that's the way it is.

Actually your both not exactly right in regards to accredited media..
Photographers are tested and checked for levels of experience in shooting these type of situations, anyone unsuitable or not experienced is not accredited.
Insurance is a non word, the photographers sign their lives away when they accept their accreditation. standard paractice across the world with this type of event.

In this particular case (the video) the Driver went in way too deep and dropped off the edge, I suspect he chose a wrong gear or the likes and basically fluffed the corner as was apparent from the video. No one was hit out of about 12 Togs working that corner.
Personally yes, on of them was rather close, but wasnt hit, and also got his shot! (It was actually his brother as Nav in the Mustang too to make it more confusing)

Togs are expected to retain a safe working environment, and any that were acreditted and went thru the safety briefing for this event know how obvious this point was made. Anyone seen to be flaunting the rules is soon exited as we saw recently at Mt Alma.

Pretty sure he would have been running his polarizer, he rarely has it off the camera..... But dont quote me on that
