JBS lambo out of race incident with R8 and Ascari

From the stream looked lie ascari slowed and pulled over on Rog to get out of way of other cars lapping.

Plenty of action starting with the Radicals.  Pile up on the start.

Got to say hello to Scud.  Pretty unlucky today but I'm sure as always he'll bounce back.  First race he got taken out on the first lap.  Not sure why people try to win a 1 hour race in the first lap.  Always seems to be the drivers who don't own the cars that drive them like they are stolen!!

Scud was doing really well in the GT race too until again taken out.  I was down at Honda for the first 20 minutes or so and you made some good moves Scud.  Good location of the track to watch from.

Good job to FF and team at Vicous Rumour Racing, I left before the end but they were going really well.

A couple of pics.  Looking down on Scud and poor Bayliss car.  Going to need some serious repairs.

We had an excellent weekend. Didn't put a wheel off the track all weekend, and despite the frustrating conditions, we managed to be highly competitive. Dalberto was fastest in qualifying in heavy wet conditions, right up until we took him out of the car, his time only being bettered later as the circuit began to clear. And having started the race from 13th, drove to the lead before pitting. Unfortunately due to pit congestion we couldn't pit when wanted to, but when Defelice got in, he then did a superb job on track, maintaining good speed and matching the other gent lap times, and getting to p2 on lap 48, superb. No mistakes made, good clean racing and lots of fun and learning. Superb crew efforts from everyone, although the buggers got me drunk Friday night. Still nailed the perfect strategy though with data engineer Renato Loberto! And not even a scratch on the car! Came home 4th. Superb job by Peter Edwards in the Maranello Ferrari, they came 3rd. Garth Tander won in an exciting finish sharing Tony Quinns Aston, just pipping the erebus Mercedes near the end.

Poor scud had a shocker. But at least he didn't flip me the bird when I asked him to pose for a pic. And his accident took out the Audi that caused our Bathurst shunt, so I guess thanks for driving the karma train for us!

Car looks fantastic, but I've never liked the yellow headlight covers.

Car looks fantastic, but I've never liked the yellow headlight covers.

It's compulsory to use them in some races. Plus it helps identify the incoming car...
