Yeah I know - just wasn't sure if he'd be able to do both since a lot of GT sessions are adjacent to V8 sessions.

It's not that hard to organise.

Mechanic takes later session car to dummy grid, driver gets out preceding session car at end of session or just walks straight to dummy grid, jumps in and goes again. Mechanic for completed session takes car back to garage.

I've done it several times with several drivers. You might miss a little time, maybe a lap or two, but it's quite do-able.

Of course, the V8 time slot will take preference.

But I have got to do laps in race cars at AGP, Clipsal, Surfers, all the great events where schedules overlap. Makes a mechanics day when that happens!  :D

Bowe said at Clipsal one year... "hey Phil, this 360 takes T8 flat where the V8 is a down change, I don't know why i bother with a V8"  I told him it was the inner bogan in him that made him do it. he said it was his 2 headed cousins fault.

1st time i met JB we talked for about 5 mins and have been mates ever since.

We only talked about the GT cars, he rated the 360 NGT up with the Sierra RS500 as the most rewarding cars to drive

oh and Vodka O Lambo quickest in P2  :thumbsup:

not sure why all GT so slow....

painfull so far.

TQ did a 2.10 last year, and even Ted did a 2.21 in the car Hackett is driving now.

They should be doing low teens at least, if not sub 2.10.

update i got from peter was damp session early in the morning and a broken session with a couple of red flags in the afternoon

from the sounds of it Dean didn't get to put in a flying lap in the afternoon session
