Not until the brains trust that is Aus GT start encouraging and supporting professional drivers rather than actively DIS couraging them.

Over it.

Amateur hour, or 30 minutes anyway. An hour would be half professional!
GT have been given the arse for the 12 hr so now it may be a good race after all.

So GT management aren't involved with the 12 hr or have the rules to allow the GT cars been scrapped?

Great race again, I was supposed to do all sorts of household chores, I said I'd watch the first hour, then a bit at lunchtime, and the last hour.... but I hardly missed any of it!..

i set up a mirror so i could watch the race through the lounge window as I de-winterised the bbq ready for first post winter use :tilt:

Really enjoyed it, fantastic TV coverage.

Well, over for another year, back to only seeing people I'm related to in town :(
Got a bit lucky with a last minute ticket with a friend and her family, they are race nuts and as such had awesome seats. The atmosphere up there is fantastic, the sound of the start crazy, but I didn't didn't really get into the race this year. Seemed like a distinct lack of action and drama. The crash on the first lap WAS epic, the entire pit lane went quiet when he rolled but then when he got out we cheered our ass's off.

So yeah, was good to see it live but thought it was rather dull.

I don't think any of the three of them know what they want/ed.

except, they ALL want the person they perceive as their mate to win....
never mind the racing!

I think parity should be decided by compulsory lenth pit stops.. go as fast as you like in Qual, but then a handicapper calculates race time, and adds the advanatage to your stop.

Format MUST be a 1 hour race, with 1 stop for this to work. Even then, a safety car can bugger it up.

but at least the cars could run at true fast pace, and correct homologated spec/weight.

Current cars could run against older spec too.
