big news and my response on 10/10ths

the cons for me are

1: you need to do 28 laps flat out at 2:10, but behind the safety car for the first lap will mean 27/26 laps. so does the team entered in both go flat out to win the 12hr (look at AS last year, he was flat out then ran out of fuel on lap 27?, can't remember) and maybe run out of fuel or conserve fuel to win the gt race but suffer for the 12hr race?

2: either DR or PK will be starting in my car, do they finish the first hour towards the front and I get the points? to me that's not fair and i'm gaining from it. so do i start which will hurt our 12hr chances?

3: entries for one hour back off on warm down lap and get collected by others still going flat out across the top?

4: one hour entry punts a 12hr entry off, i know 'that's racing' but we have 2 races at the same time.

they should of a) made the 12hr the first round awarding half points so those who didn't enter aren't disadvantaged too much or b) you drop your best weekend in the championship, and if bathurst was it then it doesn't count.

they'll be plenty debated on here for a while now on this.

yeah, it's a bit crazy eh.

They should just run a 1 hr on the Saturday IMO.
