about 250+ in 5th gear at my breaking point on the straight, naturally not looking at speedo when going through turn 1   still in 5th gear but I guess 200-210 and reaching 220+ again before turn 2.

Holy frikkin cr@p that's quick! 220-230 down the straight is about it for the 360 (you're hitting the straight much quicker out of the last turn no doubt) - then turn one at about 180 feels very fast.  Any idea how many more k's the slicks give you in big nut-shrinking corners like turn one?
C'mon, do it!

Not slicks but DOT Hoosiers (nearly slicks), about 3-4 secs a lap over standard tyres and 10-20kms on turn 1 I reckon, but more importantly, more feel & confidence as the limits of adhesion are far easier to approach & feel.

Not really, the DOT is just to enable certain use in track events, same as there I'm sure.
I have them on another set of rims just for track days.
