I'm sure it is an excellent idea for safety but I'm not going to fit a cage/belt/seat set up to go in the TT class for 4 days.  You are in and out of the car 50 times a day.  It is more a social event than motor sport.

Crashing is not a social activity. it damn well hurts, or worse.

If you are even REMOTELY competitive ... use it!

TT isn't a competitive category.  It is for unmodified road cars and limited to 130km/h.  No timing is allowed.

I'm not remotely competitive - if I was, I'd be in another category.

Almost is eh! Thanks.

I did it blind.. I can't quite reach to look at the screen to take it, and nearly fell off the mezzanine trying.

Ok, but that's what they all say!

So long as you've had it said and written to you... you can do what you like... of course!

Your advice is welcome and good.

Hell, looks like that 308 got a bit over-excited though. :(
