I don't know how a thread about racing at sandown has turned into a car for sale?

This is as bad as that other bloke pushing debt finance.

It's a thread about a couple of Le man's race cars. Both in Melbourne.

Do you have any race cars with provenance of any kind? If so, post away.

10 years newer, 200kg heavier, 100 less bhp, but around 5 seconds faster per minute....

LeMans provenance can rarely be bought.....

And even more rarely, at this kind of price.....

Makes you think?

Hmmmm, let me see. They were circa $700k Australian landed and tax paid back in 2001 according to the customs documentation I have for mine. A year later they were selling for $450k Aus and 11 years later the ask is $160k Aus and it's sitting unsold for years.

I've heard your sales spiel about investment potential several times over the period  :scratchchin:

Thank God you're not a licensed financial advisor  :p

BOM says:
"Scattered showers, mainly over southern and eastern suburbs. The chance of thunderstorms and hail in the late morning and afternoon."

I hope your version is the right one as it's been too long since I took her out last.

You'll see!
One day.....

Getting a Le mans entry is like getting an Oscar nomination for actors.

As Andre said, and as you well know, historic race cars are the super rich event passes you need rather than just actual money...

So if a mega payday on this heap will only be a matter of time, why doesn't the owner just keep it?  :scratchchin:

Sometimes you just got to see through the BS.

Go and buy any other Michelotto built car, and see what it costs.

Go and buy another class leading LeMans car, and see what it costs.

Call it what you like, but anyway you look at it, the ingredients are there.

Maybe the owner has other cars and investments and he's streamlining.

Ask Andre what he'd sell his stunning lotus for? I reckon it'd be more than this Ferrari.

More importantly, what's the green thing behind it? Great colour.
