The Indy Rally is the ultimate motorsport adventure that caters for both Driver only or Driver & Co-
Driver Entry. You will not need an Ultra High Performance Exotic to place well in this event, or more importantly to enjoy yourself.

You not only get the satisfaction of participating in a truly unique event, but you will experience an adventure that combines the adrenaline of motor sport, the camaraderie of friends and enthusiasts, and memories that will last a lifetime! In addition to the competition element, there will be evening get togethers and a gala post-event bash - good times with good new friends!
Where The 2006 Indy Rally will be conducted in and around South East Queensland with overnight stops at Stanthorpe, Warwick and Beenleigh.
When? During Indy week on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on 15 - 18 October 2006.
Cars Open to all Classic, Collectable and Performance cars. The Indy Rally is the official rally event of the Lexmark Indy 300.
Event Type A combination of Speed Events, Auto-Tests, Circuit Sprints, Hill climbs, and Transport sections at venues such as Carnell Raceway, Willowbank Raceway, Morgan Park, and the MG Car Clubs' Mt Cotton Hill climb. The Thursday will see the Event wind down with a Presentation Luncheon right in the thick of the Lexmark Indy 300 action. (Refer Event Schedule). All sub-events will be conducted on bitumen roads and sealed venues.
How Many Entries Entry will be strictly limited to 60 Drivers (made up Drivers and Co-Drivers), first in best-dressed etc? No cross-entry accepted. Those Competitors not successful in obtaining an Entry will be advised and placed on the Reserves List.
Entry by Facsimile or e-mail will be classed as an Expression of Interest only and be placed on the Reserves List. For Entry to be accepted, Entry must be on a completed Entry Form and accompanied by the appropriate payment. An Entry Form is attached to this Bulletin.
Permit The Indy Rally will be conducted under the National Competition Rules of the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA), the Permit as a Touring Road Event. The Event will be made up of Speed Events and Auto-Tests with Transport Sections in between venues and overnight stops.
Licences The Event shall be open to: Drivers that are holders of a current Civil Licence issued by a State or Territory of the Commonwealth of Australia and an Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) Club Licence or similar. AASA Licences are available from the Organisers.
Meals Luncheon each day and morning and afternoon teas where applicable are included in the Entry Fee as will the Sunday Evening meals at Stanthorpe (Anna?s) and Warwick (TBA). The Presentation Luncheon on the Thursday is also included for Competitors. Extra tickets are available.
30 Events The Indy Rally will offer 15 sub-events over the four days. Each Competitor will have two runs per sub-event for Driver and Co-Driver making a total of 30 timed sub-events for the competition. Every run is scored.
Navigation The format of this event is that there is no competitive Navigation. There are Transport Sections between venues and overnight stops. There is no need for a ?Navigator?. A target time will be set for each Transport Section of the Event relating to Sub-Event Start Times.

Classes Classes will be: Classic up to 1975. Modern Classic 1976 ? 1989. Modern 1990 ? 2006. Super Cup - AWD/4WD. Porsche Cup - All Porsche (other than 356 and AWD Models). Any class that attracts less than three entries will be combined with the next most appropriate class at the discretion of the Organisers.
