Was an ok turn out. The new Viper ran, but was a little underwhelming, although it did win of course.

We had a terrible w/e with the Lambo.

On saturday, there was a pointless (literally) 5 lap race for drivers and co drivers... so we did the drivers one. It had been raining but stopped before we raced. On the dummy grid we considered changing to slicks but after the obs lap, decided to stay wets.

On lap 4 of the 5 lapper, the tyres had gone to jelly, and we lost it under brakes into T4 hairpin... slid across the grass and heavily side swiped the leader Bobik in his "just out the paintshop" 996 GT3 cup...

Both cars retired from the meeting. Suspension damage mainly.

We could have got the Lambo going again, but we have Sandown this w/e, so opted to preserve what spares we had left.

Bummer.

Car is already fixed. We sub assembled all the mechanicals at the track on sunday, then got it in the paintshop 6 am Monday. It's out this evening and all on schedule for Bowe and Ted to have a good run.
