edit: to avoid confusion ( :p ) here's what i posted elsewhere:

last weekend a bunch of us went to Tasmania to do a quick lap of the island.

if you've never been there you should check it out, especially if you enjoy driving!  it has spectacular scenery, very little traffic, and some of the best roads on the planet.

not long into the first day of this adventure everyone was already convinced that this was the best driving holiday you could ever hope to have.

the attending cars were an eclectic bunch, a Lamborghini Gallardo SE, Ferrari 355 Challenge, Porsche 997 GT3, Honda NSX, BMW M5, BMW 550, Corvette, WRX, Ford Falcon XR8, Jaguar E-Type, and we were joined along the way by an Audi RS4 (or something).

first up, the boys from Adelaide had to travel 800km just to get to the ferry to get there, and the pics from that portion of the journey are online in this gallery here:

later on the other parts of the adventure will be online (over 6gb of pics/vids to go through), but for now here's some random pics...

Jealous of you guys! Looks like it's going to be an incredible trip.
