More details? Did a procession car get carried away on a speed limited road?

there were 3 sections. classics, bikes and exotics. the classics did 3 laps, then the exotics went out and did 2 laps on saturday, but then shortened to only 1 lap at a time on sunday.

the speed limit was "posted speeds, but in 100 zones you could go 130" if your car can get to 130..... :D

AFAIK

Speed rules were stipulated prior to commencement of the event. But the Saturday runs were pretty much free for all.  everything was going fine until said Ferrari went down the main drag of a small town at a clocked 195.  Police at that time had no radars active.  Speed was clocked by an alleged track marshall.

Sunday they had 3 roaming cameras  just inside the 60 zones - and they were taking notes.

Saturday was a free for all for the exotics drivers who didn't bother going to the drivers briefing. That was one persons excuse for not knowing the rules - he was asked to leave. The drivers briefing was compulsary and failure to sign in on Sunday meant driver no longer taking part.

The exotics drivers also had an additional briefing after the normal drivers briefing on Sunday.

And after all that, there was still a motorcycle rider escorted in by 2 police motorcycles on Sunday afternoon.
