On a very wet and wild Friday I went up to Mallala for the practise day for the Shannon’s National Motor Racing Championships/Biodiesel Super Trucks. The rain made life difficult but overall made for some great shooting opportunities. The gallery for the rest of them is at http://www.timaustinimages.com/p793948540/?photo=h3E7BB41C#517366294.

Here's a few from the day:

i knew terry was going
i suggested a couple of tips.

was it dry for their first run?

the times ropped off a lot after that?

are they all on slicks?

MK is very quick.  he pulled a  1min 12.7 in a 997 GT3RS on slicks.

we dont ever really appreciate how incredible a stock 997GT3 is.
in similar conditions, on stock brakes and running hoosiers, a GT3 can make it into the 14's

amazing for a street car

at QR i did a 1:18.5 on slicks in my GT3 road car, i had nothing left to give for that lap time. terry does 15's in his cup car. i do 14's in my 997 cup car. pity some on here don't give the respect that a porche deserves.
