Let's keep any discussion of likely dates to the private forum.

This thread is important to build interest but there's no need to burden the wider populace with the finer details.  ;)

Oh, Ash and dingo... you could take up the self drive option... my truck has a nice bunk ;) You need an MR licence.. thats meduim rigid... can you manage that between you two?

So, ash... put the km into a route plan, add in the days of driving.... and you can work out for yourself the cost.

Truck drivers must rest every 4.5 hours for 30 minutes, or "two up" drivers can go 4 hours on each, but must not drive more than 12 in any 24 hours.

You are forgetting these guys are artists.

It's no accident that Ash spells work as "werk".  :p

It's a trip in itself, driving the truck.

I'd recommend anyone to get at least MR truck licence. My truck is the biggest thing allowed on an MR, anything bigger is twin rear axle and HR licence required... but this Mack FEELS like an HR, due to it's 9 speed hi/low ratio box.

I actually enjoy driving it, for up to 8 hours.

I do some driving myself, my business partner in it does some too. And we use Jack, and two other drivers on occasion.

I LOVE MY JOBS!

not really, but if you've got good legs from 100m away, you'll get a ride.

I think you both qualify for a medium rigid licence.   :p

Don't worry Ash, 4 LPs will give you a full rigid one.
